Chris Jones was known for his wild behaviour, both on and off the rugby pitch. He even carried an axe in his kit bag to maintain his tough-guy image. His violent conduct led to two bans from the sport. However, his life took a dramatic turn after a significant encounter with God while he was in a police cell. Facing a jail sentence for violent disorder and wounding, he became a committed Christian, and this transformed his life. He is now a Rugby Development Officer, using the power of sport to help young people in the community "become the best they can be."
